For the past ten years and counting, Optibike, a renowned e-bike manufacturer based in Colorado, has solidified its position as a top-notch designer and producer of electric bikes in the United States. After working in the Advanced Vehicle Controls Division at Ford Motor Company upon completing his engineering studies at Stanford University, he became disheartened and frustrated with the slow pace of advancement in the corporate realm. In 2007, following nine years of dedicated development, he founded Optibike. With their initial offering dubbed the Urban Series, they entered the E-Bike market.

The entry-level model stands out due to its affordability and exceptional value at a lower price point. This particular electric bicycle features a traditional frame and a 500-watt mid-drive motor, enabling riders to effortlessly travel up to 40 miles at a relaxed speed of 25 mph. Moreover, customers have the option to enhance the braking system, upgrade the suspension, and include gears to the rear hub, catering to the needs of more committed cyclists.
