Tend Building is a small local business in New York that creates artistic structures while trying to stick strictly to environmentally responsible products. They say their designs aspire to inspire.

Architend is many things, including architecture, community design, and research and development firm. They say they are primarily focused on leading-edge, regenerative design.

Together they have channeled their powers to make this cute stitched-together concept that I suspect will leave you either loving it or wanting more.

The Tiny Drop is both a teardrop trailer and a tiny house.

Perhaps science has gone too far, too busy with whether or not they could instead of if they should. The result is a 150-square-foot hybrid that weighs 8,000 pounds!

The Tiny Drop is a prime example of creativity

As someone who loves this idea, I can recognize that it may not be for everyone. However, as you would hope, advanced home sealing technology, a fresh air system, and a water heater do atone for a bit.

The interior also looks great, and that's the most important part. This is where you see a lot of those recycled materials in use from Tend Building and Architend. It just looks homely!

The kitchen is simple, but it does have a sink and a two-burner stove. A hearty chunk of countertop space is evident as well, with a desk on the other side.

A bathroom makes up the only other room inside, and with it, a composting toilet and water basin.

A short trip up the ladder takes you to the bedroom loft with double skylights.

The Tiny Drop is a prime example of creativity unperturbed by restriction. I suspect it won't be for everyone, but you must admit it's a bold design to devise.
